Sicilian Recipes

Here are some of the recipes that Sicilian people cook :

Sicilian Eggpplant Parmesan, Sicilian Meatroll, Mint and Coriander Chutney, Cream Cake, Cold pasta salad, Citrus Fresco, Cuisine, and Yeast dinner Rolls.

Sicillian Fashion

Some of the clothes that the Sicilians wear are:
Light blue button-down shirts for men, bright yellow caps,  jewelry (such as gold), handbags, boots, flats, perfume and dresses. When we went shopping we saw all these different types of clothing.

Sicillian Holidays

These  are some of the holidays that Sicily celebrates:
Labour Day, Christmas, Easter, New Years Day, Valentines Day, International Womans Day, Liberation Day, and Republic Day. While we were on the visit to Sicliy we celebrated Valentines Day.

Alessia's life story

We met a Greek woman that was 84 and she told us she had lived there all her life. She told us " Mi  'e stata una sardina pescartrice. Tutti i ricchi visiati ragazee rise a me e mio 5 suore. Miei fratell! Sono stati chiamati potente. Tutti gli altri ragazzi esaminato fino aloro. Ci sono state ospitate una cattiva educazione, ma quando mi sono recato a colledge, che tutti cambiato. We were an average family with 9 children. I was given a bad education, but when I went to college, that all changed. I got a fine education, a boyfriend, and moved out. He asked me to marry him, I did, and we had 3 kids. We were very happy, but then the World War started. He went to fight and never returned. I was in a depression for 1 year, but my kids calmed me. They grew up and, of course, moved out. Now I am old.

The Monreale

The Monreale is another attraction that we visited today. It has mosaics that cover over 6,000 square metres of the church's interior, which is an area lager than the splendid church of St. Mark in Vencie. There is some art in a restrictive place. The capitols themselves cepict scenes in Sicily's Norman history, complete with knights and kings.

Segesta Temple

The Segesta Temple is one of the attractions we visited today. This temple is on a hill top position on Mount Barbaro. The top of the temple was never completed. Segestian springtime is a magical place. Dramas and plays are performed in it. Greek colonists probably built in in 430 and 420 BC. It is 61 metres long and 26 metres wide. This is all we have to say about the Segesta Temple. For a 360 degree tour click here:The Segesta Temple
